Our philosophy at Bow Wow Behavioral is centered around fostering a relationship with your canine companion. One that is based on principals all healthy relationships entail. Trust and communication. The training paradigm we follow is one of positive reinforcement meaning our training methods motivate our canine companions to train and learn with us through positive experiences. Whether it be a treat, a ball, or a walk to the park, these experiences serve as tools to alter your dog's behavior patterns. This feedback works to interest and motivate your pup to follow along with your training exercises. Slowly but surely the games they enthusiastically join us in begin to form into concepts.
Training concepts that your dog will grow to rely on and understand. This is the beginning to creating a communication structure with your dog. One that can be used to teach and relay what behaviors you deem appropriate as well as a path towards understanding the mind of your dog and your friend.
